Item Description
These metal window textures would be perfect for all sorts of uses - steampunk, military, grungey Sci-Fi... They're made with vehicles in mind but would work as panels or windows in a factory or mad gothic scientist's laboratory...
There's 16 textures comprising 5 different types of window in four different metals, all gloriously 3D looking, and all with a slightly weathered look (except for the solitary gold window) The glass is slightly opaque but is unblemished.
The idea came originally from a custom job for a friend who had searched high and low for cockpit windows for his steampunk vehicle projects..
NOOBS BEWARE: Placement of some of these textures in order that they look correct requires a familiarity with the advanced functions of the texture tab - the round ones will need 'Repeat Per Meter' toggled to ensure a good fit. Perfect windows can be obtained through patience and experimentation. The Ivory Tower of Primitives is a great place to learn how to use textures to their maximum potential.
All the textures in this pack are 100% original and premium quality. They are all alpha textures with transparent and semi-transparent areas. They are created entirely from scratch using Photoshop CS3 They come with contact sheets and full customer support, should you require it.
These textures are FULL PERM for SALEABLE CONTENT CREATION but are NOT FOR RESALE OR REDISTRIBUTION AS TEXTURES. :-)
