Item Description
The sword Griffon's Claw was inspired by the Dune novels of Frank Herbert, envisioned as an idealized weapon of House Harkonnen, but appropriate for a lot of different purposes, from fashion to roleplay. The design blends the gothic with a slight futuristic touch, and is intended as a piece of wearable art, great care given to the perfection of every prim. The pattern-welded (Damascus steel) leaf blade is sculpted, while the majority of the rest of the sword is of traditional prims.
This weapon is -NOT- combat scripted (thus the moderate price), but is moddable so you can add the system of your choice if desired, and still wield an extraordinarily beautiful weapon (as many pre-scripted ones focus on the weapon scripts, and not so much the appearance). Draw/sheathe scripting is included on all versions- the sword set contains both the full colorchange version, as well as draw/sheathe only black/red and black/blue versions, for those who might want to add their own systems and desire minimal pre-scripting. (Blue is the color assigned to House Harkonnen in the books, but even in the descriptions, it was clear they preferred red, and in my opinion, it suits much better.)
The full colorchange version has 6 blade colors, 18 metal colors, 23 leather colors, and 45 gem colors to choose from for a very wide range of potential looks.
