GG Movie Player

Thank you for purchasing our Movie server. With this server, you can now stream your own movies which are totally up to your taste. The best part about it is that you can play it on any land, whether it be your own land, or group land, or even land which belongs to your friends. Because of this, you can edit the playlist anyway you want because you never have to deed it or give it away for it to play.
1.0 How to Set Up the server and receiver
All our A/V servers are bundled with a free copiable GG_Receiver to be used on the land which you wish to stream on. Our GG Receivers are made to work with all our A/V servers so you only need to rez one copy of the receiver on the parcel and it will work with our GG A/V servers to stream audio and video onto the land.
1.1 Setting up on land you own
- Just rez the GG_MovieServer and a copy of the receiver (if you don't have one set up yet) and you're all set to go
1.2 Setting up on group land
- Rez the GG_MovieServer and a copy of the GG_Receiver. Next, deed ONLY the receiver to the group that owns the land. (Note: YOU MUST BE OFFICER OF THE LAND GROUP TO DEED ITEMS).
1.3 Setting up on land belonging to others
- Give a copy of the receiver to the owner of the land and let them rez it on the land. Rez your GG MovieServer and it will stream your movies to their land.
2.0 How to set up the playlist
For a movie to be able to be streamed on SL, it must already be available on the internet on a web server. Please note that the format of movie files which can be played in SL are either mov files or mp4 files. If you would like to stream your own movie collection, make sure you upload them to a file hosting site on the internet (google for file hosting, there are some free ones out there)
You will find the movlist notecard inside the GG_MovieServer. Open up the movlist notecard to setup or edit the playlist.
The syntax for each entry on this playlist is very straightforward. The format is as follows:

3.0 How to play from the GG_MovieServer
The GG_MovieServer is designed to be very user-friendly with easy to use menus. Simply click on the player and a menu will appear with the options as follows:
Help: will bring up this manual
Movies: will display the list of movies in a submenu. You can choose to play the movie or to scroll back and forth through the movies either one by one or by tens (in case you have a long list of movies).
Options: will let you have the option to either loop the movie repetitively or to just play it once.
Stop: will stop the player .
