Item Description
by Total Chastity Thank you for your interest in the Cortech Jetset, the complete solution to intra sim transport in SL. The package consists of a jetpack, a pair of jetboots and a rather fetching helmet complete with goggles and faintly amusing springy radio antenna. SecondLife imposes restrictions on flight above certain heights (around 200 meters). Many people in SL already have flight assistance scripts active in other gadgets (The very popular Mystitool, for example). If you haven't then your jet boots or jetpack may be helpful. Without flight assistance you may have great difficulty flying in certain areas above to 200 meter ceiling. Wearing the jetpack will enable flight assistance. They use the common "X-Flight enhanced" script popular in SL. . Please bear in mind that if you use multiple flight enhancement attachments at the same time YOU MAY FLOAT UNCONTROLLABLY INTO SPACE. This may not be the desired effect, so it's something to be aware of, for this reason the boots provide no flight assistance and the jet effect is just for...effect. If you would like to use your own flight assist, the existing one can be simply removed by editing the jetpack (right click, edit) and deleting the "Flight Assist" script found inside. The jetpack uses the spine attachment point by default, and so will replace most wings, capes etc that usually share the same point. The boots, rather predictably, use the left and right foot attachment points while the helmet uses the skull slot, and therefore will replace most prim hairstyles (which wouldn't fit under it, anyway). Attaching it to another point on the head will require some editing to realign it, but shouldn't prove too troublesome. Enjoy your free jetset, and tell your friends they can get a copy at any of our branches, along with a number of other lovingly crafted free items.
