Item Description
The THiNC Book has full animations and sound such as: the book closing, opening and turning pages. The THiNC Book is transferable and fully modifiable. You may color, texture or resize it any way you like. If you don't want to bother with step by step direction you can just throw your pictures in and it will sort the pictures alphabetically. Or you can take control by naming them alphabetically to what will be shown first. One way I recomend is naming them by numbers, ex: 1, 2, 3, etc. 1 will be first and so on. The book may be browsed by anyone if left out. This is a versatile book that can be use for many applications, here are some of the obvious ones: 1) PHOTO ALBUM - Setup your own photo album with your pictures to capture the memories. Leave it out so your friends can browse through it. 2) Novel - Inspired author? Just create and type text on each page using your favorite paint program. Save it as a graphic file and upload the graphics and store them in the book. 3) Catalog - Another advertising tool. Use it for your items for sale, or a portfolio of your work, etc. Place the book out in your store for people to browse or give them out using the publication package. Setup the pages much like a novel. 4) Gifts - Create a custom albums or book to give out to a friend. It would be a great gift for wedding guests. 5) Publish your book - Make multiple copies of your book to give out or to sell. THiNC Printing Press Required. If you haven't done so, check all our items on display for demo at the Main store: Lota (10,15,278) If there are any questions or comments please IM Toneless Tomba. *** Every texture or snapshot must have full permissions. It will give any photos without full permisions back to you. Also if you create a book for someone else make sure each texture or snapshot will have full permission to the person that it will be given to. ( Check all 3 boxes "Next owner can:", Modify, Copy, Resell/Give away.) Otherwise it will warn you about the number of textures that do not have these permissions. INSTRUCTIONS: (Operations) 1) Touch the binding (outer cover, uppper or lower) of book to open and close the book. (If you advance beyond the first or last page it will close automatically.) 2) Click the right page to advance pages. 3) Click the left page to go to the previous page. HUD viewing: Take THiNC Book into inventory. Right mouse click and left click "Wear". Note: If book is larger than default size it will resize itself so you can read it in HUD view. Once rezed back in normal world it will resize back to it's original size. SETUP: 1) Take your book out of inventory. Right click the book then left click EDIT. 2) Click the CONTENT FOLDER. 3) *OPTIONAL* Double click the ? notecard to further personalize your THiNC Book. [Orientation] : The first option is Orientation you have 3 choices: STANDARD: has square pages the default setting of the THiNC book. (1x1 ratio) LANDSCAPE: has rectangular pages bigger horizontally better for taking straight screenshots. (4x3 ratio) PORTRAIT: bigger vertically best for publication & magazines (3x4 ratio) [Size] : You can also adjust your THiNC Book to any size from 0-100 (0 smallest- 100 Largest) your book comes set default to 0. [PUBLICATION MODE] : (YES or NO) This is selected "YES" only if you are publishing copies of your THiNC Book to sell or to be given out. A THiNC Printing Press is required. After changing the _SIZE&ORIENTATION notecard be sure to click save on the bottom left corner, then close the notecard window. 4) Go to your inventory and select the texture or snapshot in your inventory then drag it to the content folder in the Edit window. 5) Repeat step 4 until you have all the pictures needed. 6) *OPTIONAL* Rename each picture/snapshot according to what needs to be displayed first. Remember it sorts alphabetically. I suggest using names like 1, 2, 3, etc. 7) *OPTIONAL* Your THiNC Book is also comes with a fully customizable cover. All you have to do is: a. Right click your book and select EDIT. b. Click the CONTENT FOLDER c. You must replace the textures named: *BACK,*FRONT, *SIDE,*SPINE depending on which part of your book you wish to customize. To do this just name your new textures these exact names and drop them into your THiNC Books contents. Also please make sure you have deleted the original textures named: *BACK,*FRONT, *SIDE,*SPINE. ?. Heres the ? of where each texture goes to. d. Now your fully customized texture should be showing on your book cover, you may replace it as many times as you like by following these steps 8) Close your edit windows and the THiNC book is ready to use. VERSION HISTORY 1.0 - First version of the THiNC book to the general public 1.1 - 2nd version supports 3 Orientations: PORTRAIT, LANDSCAPE, & STANDARD 1.2 - Beta version, never got released to the public due to better design ideas. 2.0 - Major revision new features: HUD support (w/ automatic resizing for larger books) Automatic resizing by changing value in notecard. Easier procedures of texturing binding covers and compatibility of new upgrades for publication. Support for new THiNC Printing Press.
