Where do I find my items to edit? I have a lot of items, can I edit them all at once? Why aren't my item edits showing up when I search? Can I automatically split profits with other avatars? What is the in-world texture used for? What is the difference between an in-world texture and a web texture? Why are my images are being cut off in thumbnails? I have multiple images for my item. How can I choose which one is shown in first? Where do I find my items to edit?Your items are organized by Dropbox under the My Home tab. Click on "Item Management" in the sidebar to see all your dropboxes. I have a lot of items, can I edit them all at once?Yes! You can edit items stored in the same dropbox at the same time by checking the checkbox next to each item and then clicking "Edit All". This will bring up a batch edit form where you can edit properties of all your selected items at once. If your items had fields that didn't match, the fields in the form will appear blank at first. Only fields that have been checked in the batch edit form will be saved. Why aren't my item edits showing up when I search?Your edits will show up immediately on the item view pages, but it may take a few minutes for your changes to show up in our search index. Can I automatically split profits with other avatars?Yes, you can split payments with other avatars by setting up payment methods. You can specify multiple avatars to split payments with at different percentages. Then when editing your items, you can select a saved payment method to have payments automatically split between avatars. Note: Split payments only apply to web sales. Sales from in-world vendors will not be split. Split payments are paid to OnRez balances. They are not automatically paid in-world. What is the in-world texture used for?The in-world texture will appear in Shop kiosks when users search for your items in-world. They can also be used in your vendors. What is the difference between an in-world texture and a web texture?In-world images are shown inside Second Life on Shop OnRez kiosks or vendors. These are the images you put in your dropbox along with your items. Associate in-world images with you items by editing your item and choosing the correct texture from the dropdown menu in the "Images" tab. Web images are shown in the web and must be added separately. Edit your entries on the Shop OnRez website and upload an image from your computer for each item in the "Images" tab. Why are my images are being cut off in thumbnails?We currently store three versions of each image upload to Shop OnRez:
Thumbnail images are cropped from the center out to a square size. I have multiple images for my item. How can I choose which one is shown in first?You can reorder your images when you edit your item's listing by dragging the image thumbnails in the order you want. Images are ordered from left to right with the left-most image used for the item's thumbnail on the rest of the site. |
