›› How do I buy stuff on shop.onrez.com?

Shopping on shop.onrez.com is easy! Just follow these steps:

1. Set up your onrez account, link your avatar, and deposit some money! Read the Account FAQ for help with this.
2. Find yourself the perfect outfit, hair, animation, scripted object, or whatever you might be interested in by browsing or searching through our huge catalog of Second Life goods!
3. Once you've found what you like, just click the "Buy this item" link on the item's page. We'll deduct the price of the item from your Shop balance, and the item will be delivered to you in-world!

›› Can I buy an item as a gift for a friend? Even if it's no-transfer?

Absolutely! Instead of clicking the "Buy this item" link, use the "Send as gift" link. We'll ask you who you'd like to send the item to. Then, we'll deduct the price of the item from your Shop balance and deliver the item to your friend in-world.

›› Does my friend have to have a Shop account in order to receive gifts from me?

For the most part, no. We have enough information on file about most residents in order to make deliveries to them. You're most likely to run into trouble with friends who are new to Second Life. If you try to send a gift to a friend who isn't in our system, the easiest way to get them in there is to ask them to sign up for an OnRez account and link their avatar. Once they've done that, you'll be able to send them gifts.

›› How long will it take for my item to be delivered?

Deliveries usually arrive within a minute. However, sometimes things go wrong so we will attempt to deliver your item multiple times before we give up and refund your money. View your purchase history to see an item's delivery status.

›› What guarantees do I have that my purchase will be delivered when I buy an item?

We've gone to great lengths to create a reliable delivery system in shop.onrez.com. If the dropbox containing the item you purchased is unavailable to deliver for some reason, shop.onrez.com will automatically make several additional attempts to deliver. If those attempts fail, then the transaction will be canceled and your money will be refunded.

›› Can I buy items on Shop without depositing my in-world money?

Yes, if the seller uses our in-world vendors. These vendors are just like the ones you're used to seeing in malls and other in-world shops. To use them, just visit the seller's location in Second Life and pay money into the vendor of the item you want to buy.

Items that are available for sale in Second Life will have a link to the in-world vendor on the item listing. Look for the "Vendors selling this item" section on the item's listing.

›› How do I know if an item on shop.onrez.com is being sold in-world?

Look for a teleport link on the item's page that will take you to an in-world vendor if one exists.

›› What does 'L$' mean? Where do I enter my shipping information?
